Anti-wrinkle treatments

Anti-wrinkle injections utilise neurotoxins to temporarily relax the specific facial muscles responsible for expression lines. By softening these underlying contractions, the treatment allows the overlying skin to smooth and recover, preventing the formation of deeper creases while maintaining a naturally refreshed and composed appearance.

We believe in a less is more approach to anti-wrinkle treatments. The products we use are well-researched and considered very safe. They have been used in cosmetic treatments for more than 25 years now and it is extremely rare for serious side effects to occur. They work by temporarily weakening the muscles that cause frown lines and wrinkles, resulting in a dramatically smoother, younger looking appearance. Anti-wrinkle injections are not just for line correction they are ideal for line prevention.

Anti-wrinkle injections require a face to face consultation with a doctor or a nurse prescriber before every treatment.  Please contact the clinic to arrange a consultation.

In the right hands, anti-wrinkle injections are very safe and effective. One rare side effect is a ptosis. This means a drooping or falling of the upper eyelid. Even if this occurs, it can usually be rectified and in cases where it can’t, the duration of effect of the product means that the effect is not permanent and only lasts a few weeks. Occasionally a headache may occur after treatment but this is temporary and rare. As this procedure involves needles there is also a risk of some minor bruising or redness at the injection site.
